Uddhav Thackeray announces to fight alone when the time comes and promises to take a stand against betrayal

Mumbai, January 24, 2025 – In a bold and dramatic statement, Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray announced that he will not hesitate to fight alone when the time comes. Speaking at a public meeting in Mumbai, Thackeray made it clear that he will not come under anyone’s influence and will take matters into his own hands if the need arises.

“We are heading towards the municipal elections and I have spoken to leaders from Mumbai, Nashik, and Sambhajinagar. They all agree – the time has come to fight alone. Do we have the strength? If we are ready, I will decide according to the wishes of the workers. I stand by my resolve, I will not back down,” Thackeray said.

The announcement comes after Shiv Sena defeat in the Maharashtra assembly elections, which has led to growing demands within the party to fight alone in future electoral battles. Thackeray stressed that despite the current lack of political strength, he is not discouraged and is committed to his mission.

“Today I have nothing. But who am I fighting for and why? If anyone else were in my place, they would have lost hope by now. But not me, I am not a coward. I will fight with the strength and faith of my supporters. No traitor or enemy will prevail,” Thackeray added.

The Shiv Sena leader made a pointed remark targeting Union Home Minister Amit Shah and warned him to stay out of Maharashtra’s internal affairs. “I have only shown you a glimpse today. Come to us, and we will make sure you return to Delhi with your tail between your legs,” Thackeray asserted.

The political atmosphere is curious, as Thackeray’s bold move could redefine the future of Maharashtra’s political landscape.
