Tata Launches Updated Nexon 2025 Model: Sunroof at Lower Price, Some Variants Discontinued

Tata Motors has unveiled the updated 2025 model of its best-selling sub-4 meter SUV, the Tata Nexon, with several new features and adjustments. The refreshed Nexon now offers a sunroof in more affordable variants, making it an attractive option for budget-conscious buyers.

New Color Options and Discontinued Shades

The 2025 Nexon introduces two new colors, Grassland Beige and Royal Blue, replacing the outgoing Flame Red and Purple shades. Tata Motors is promoting Grassland Beige as the highlight color in its marketing campaigns, while retaining popular options like Pure Grey, Daytona Grey, Calgary White, and Ocean Blue.

Trim Lineup Revisions

Tata Motors has made changes to its trim lineup, referred to as “Personas.” The Smart trim has been reintroduced, replacing the Smart (O) variant, while several older variants have been discontinued, reducing the total number of options to 52. Despite these updates, the starting ex-showroom price remains unchanged at ₹7.99 lakh.

Enhanced Features Across Trims

Many trims in the Nexon lineup have received feature upgrades to enhance value for money. Notable updates include:

  • Smart+ Trim: Now comes with wheel caps for an improved look.
  • Pure+ Trim: Features body-colored door handles, a 10.2-inch infotainment screen with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a height-adjustable driver seat, rear-view camera, and auto-fold ORVMs.
  • Creative Trim: Adds a 10.2-inch infotainment screen, 360-degree camera, cruise control, and push-button start.
  • Fearless+ PS Trim: Equipped with a panoramic sunroof for a premium feel.
  • Creative+ PS Trim: Includes features like a wireless charger, front fog lamps with cornering function, 60:40 split rear seats with rear occupant detection, and a rear defogger.

The updates aim to strengthen the Nexon’s appeal in the competitive SUV segment, offering premium features at accessible price points.

Tata Nexon remains a top contender in the Indian SUV market, with these updates positioning it as a value-driven choice for 2025.
