Nandurbar: 7-year-old boy dies tragically due to nylon rope in Nandurbar, family devastated

Nandurbar News- A 7-year-old boy, Kartik Eknath Gorve, died after a nylon rope slit his throat while he was riding a motorcycle with his grandfather in Nandurbar, Maharashtra on the day of Makar Sankranti. The incident took place around 3 pm.

Kartik, a resident of Holar Wada in Nandurbar, was returning home with his grandfather from Saroj Nagar. Kartik, who was sitting in front of the motorcycle, came into contact with a stray nylon rope, which seriously injured him.

Although the government has banned nylon rope, its widespread use, and sale is still controlled, especially in areas near Gujarat, where kite flying is a major festival. Due to this, residents have criticized the authorities for failing to effectively enforce the ban.(Nandurbar News)

The incident is causing outrage and calls have been made once again for strict action against the sale of nylon nets to prevent such devastating accidents in the future.
